News

June '07 – The first group of volunteers visited the Kwahu Region of Ghana on behalf of the Rohde Foundation. The ten individuals distributed treated bed nets and did research and surveys that will lead to the implementation
of sustainable health education programs for local villagers
Aug '07 - Three pit latrines were successfully finished in the villages of Asikam and Oworobong II.
Sept '07 - Three pumps in the villages of Awisasu and Oworobong II were repaired, bringing clean water to hundreds of villagers.
Sept 8 '07 - The Judith Hale Gallery donated their backyard for a small garden party and dinner to raise funds for the construction of the clinic in Oworobong II.
Oct 13 '07 - The Rohde Foundation holds “A Night For Rural Africa” at the World Beat Center in San Diego, California. Collective Purpose, drummers and dancers will perform and a silent auction will be held to raise funds for future Rohde Foundation projects.
June '08 - The second group of volunteers will journey to Ghana to lend aid to the Rohde Foundation staff and projects in the Kwahu region of Ghana.
