Treated Bed Net Distribution
The Rohde Foundation is committed to achieving 100% coverage in villages served by the future Oworobong Rural Health Center. The Foundation attains community support and buy-in by selling insecticide treated nets (ITN’s) for $0.50 to local village members. The Foundation covers the remainder of the cost.
As of 2007, over 1000 nets have been sold to over 10 villages with approximately 85% coverage.
