The Rohde Foundation aims to provide potable water to rural communities throughout the Kwahu Region of West Africa.  Through hand-pump construction and repair the Foundation aims to make disease prevention accessible.  Previously broken pumps are being fixed, new ones are being constructed, and local leaders are being trained to fix all pumps so that future maintenance of a safe water supply can be achieved quickly and efficiently.
